Have you been itching for a new hobby? Well, bring your sewing machine and hold on to your chairs during this intense crash course as you learn the basics of quilting. Participants will be submersed in a world of quilting that includes terminology, color theory, equipment, fabric, patterns, and hands on participation. Over the duration of the class participants will make a sampler quilt which will consist of 12 different blocks and assemble those blocks into a quilt top with sashing and border. After that challenge has been achieved, participants will be walked through the next few steps to having their quilt finished. When all is said and done, participants will have a 56” x 80” sampler quilt.
