Basic sewing supplies and machines are required for all classes. We have a few classroom machines available for those who need them. Please let us know prior to the class if you need a machine so we can have it set up and ready for you.

The Kaffe Fassett lecture is designed to inspire and motivate. Kaffe's presentation highlights work from his latest projects, and collaborations, including his patchwork, fabric, needlepoint, mosaics, painting and knitting designs. For 2024, much of the lecture will focus on his latest museum exhibition, The Power of Color and his new book, Kaffe Fassett?s Quilts on an English Farm. Kaffe's inspiration comes from his and Brandon's travels throughout the world. His lecture is designed not so much to instruct but to empower and inspire the audience to create and develop their "mind's eye." Audiences leave invigorated - entranced by Kaffe's sense and use of color; they are ready to try it themselves and are encouraged to do so. The slide show lasts approximately one hour followed by a Q&A session and book signing.

Globally, Kaffe Fassett fans have enthusiastically embraced his Seed Packet Quilt. It's sew much fun to search out bold blooms from your stash and shop for the latest blooms and fruits. Designing and sewing a Seed Packet Quilt is like planting a garden: browsing the catalogs (stash & LQS), planning the lay out and planting the seeds (working with Kaffe and Brandon and cutting the squares) and watching it grow (sewing your squares,) and finally reaping what you have sown/sewn (wrapping yourself up in your new quilt.) No sewing takes place during the workshop. No sewing machines needed.

In this workshop, with Kaffe and Brandon's guidance, you will create your unique Country Snowball Quilt. Choose your fabrics with an eye to the color or mood you wish to explore. Keep your choices harmonious. For example, if you would like to explore RED, bring reds, oranges, reddish purples, magenta, warm brown, etc.

Join us as we enjoy a weekend full of sewing at our "Sleep in your own bed" Retreat. The fun starts on Friday, November 15th at 1:30pm, and continues until 2pm on Sunday, November 17th! There will be lots of fun, snacks, and great prizes (and of course, hours of sewing)!

Class fees are required at the time of registration. 10% discount is available to all students for class supplies.
Each class has its own maximums and minimums to sign up. Sign up early to avoid cancellation.
If a class is cancelled, the full amount paid for the class is refunds. There are no refunds unless Olive Juice Quilts cancels the class.

Tuesday Open Sew
Join us every Tuesday starting January 9th for open sew!! Doors open at 10am and it is totally free.

If you purchased a machine from us give us a call to set up a one-on-one mastery class so that you can learn your machine! You get unlimited free mastery classes with every machine purchase, so even if it has been awhile give us a call!
